As a fourth-generation Nevadan, Mark Hatjakes loves the natural beauty of our region. Over the years, as a graphic artist, a web designer, a photographer and filmmaker, he

developed a love of technology, since it compliments and empowers traditional art.

To illustrate his study of the convergence of art, culture and place – digital and natural – Mark has completed a new two-dimensional art series that combines aerial photography

with digital brushwork and impasto painting to create large format, multi-paneled works.
